~Wednesday Offers~

As I mentioned on Mon today starts a series of giveaways here at Bibliophile’s Retreat.

This week’s titles up for grabs:

Chosen is the NavPress edition not the new David C Cook edition from last winter.

The Deuteronomy Project is one I started to read and was making underlines and notes but I got bogged down in the book and never finished it. This is a novelization of the book of Deuteronomy from the Bible as well as a novel in itself about two people studying the book of Deuteronomy. This does have some writing (mostly underlining) in the first few sections where I was reading before I gave up.

The Enclave (2 winners)

Necessary Heartbreak has a tear in the cover that I taped. It was damaged during shipment to me.

These are all used copies in that I have read them or started to except for one copy of The Enclave which can’t be told apart from the one I did read. These are all in nearly new condition except for notations above.

To Enter:
Leave a comment with an email address I can reach you at if your name is drawn & which title/titles you are interested in. I will draw names for all above listed books in two weeks and notify the winners as well as post them on the next post listing the new set of books I’m giving away.

UPDATE:
Winners were drawn and notified 6/8 via email. They are also listed on the new post with the list of books up for grabs between now and 6/22 which will go live at 5AM Pacific on June 9. Every two weeks this routine will repeat with a new list of books being offered and the announcement of the previous winners. The winners for this first giveaway are Deuteronomy Project (Brenda), Enclave (Charity & Sandy), Chosen (Mary), Not Far From the Tree (Julia), and Necessary Heartbreak (Carole). Please either reply to the email you received from me or use the contact button at the top of any of my blog pages to send me your US or Canadian mailing address and full name to address the package to. Hope you all enjoy these books as much as I have.

  2. How generous of you to share your books with others and what a unique idea! My first choice would be Chosen. I have already read The Enclave but have read none of the other titles.

  3. The Deuteronomy Project and Not Far From The Tree would be my 1st and 2nd choice. I have not read any of the books so any one will be OK.

Thanks for the opportunity to enter this great giveaway.

  7. Necessary Heartbreak looks like an unusual book and I’d love to read it. Thanks for a great giveaway and being willing to share.

I’d love to subscribe to this blog, but can’t figure out how. I’ll keep looking, though.
