As Christmas is nearly upon us and shortly thereafter a new year, check out this retrospective of the first year for a Christian Fiction blog group to which I belong. In this post David Brollier the founder of Christian Fiction Review Blog and it’s associated Yahoo group of authors, reviewers, bloggers and readers recaps the books that have been featured on group tours over the course of 2007. Many of them are independently published or small press releases but that really, as David has said, is not a reflection of the quality or lack thereof of an author’s writing. The books I have read in the few months since I joined this group would be capable of holding their own pitted against the traditional publishers’ line-ups and perhaps in some cases exceed the quality of some of the mainline books both Christian and Secular that I’ve read over the years. I look forward to more exceptional reading experiences in 2008 from these authors and more. If you are shopping for last minute gifts check out David’s post for some unique and tantalizing tidbits that might just tempt that bookworm in your life.
