Sierra Montgomery is attempting to limp along as a single mother of three with an income that doesn’t seem to stretch far enough to make it through the month. Her mother offers the family space in her home as long as Sierra needs it but that comes with the strings of her mother’s poking her nose into too many corners of their lives. On top of losing their home, Sierra is informed she has inherited a horse but has nowhere to keep it nor can she afford the cost if she did. Unfortunately the kids discover this gift before she is able to pass it off to someone else and are devastated when she insists they cannot keep it. A local landscaper with an empty barn and field, Ross Morgan, discovers Sierra’s predicament but little does anyone realize that Sierra’s past threatens the horse finding a home with her family even with the other objections resolved.

Ross and Sierra discover a new attraction sprouting between them as Ross takes her older son, Braden, under his wing. Sierra tries her usual escape, running scared, with both the animal and love but perhaps this time around one or both will refuse to be left behind. This heartwarming story of love, faith and family will inspire your own journey of trust as you discover that God pursues us even more determinedly than human love and a stubborn horse.
