Reviews will go up as I get to the books. In the meantime click bookcovers or titles to read more. Don’t forget to check out author sites too.
I first discovered MaryLu when her stand alone title The Falcon and the Sparrow was released. I was hooked and have since had everything she writes on my wishlist. Tyndall’s books are far from a typical “sleepy” romantic story awash with cloying frivolity and minimal active content. Rather everything she’s written that I’ve had the pleasure of acquiring proves to be a riveting and adventurous narrative rife with characters that beg for a permanent abode in the readers imagination. I suspect this will be no different from my former experiences with her work and look ofrward to a few hours of much needed escape once I unearth it from my piles. Thanks to the Author and Barbour I received an extra copy of this book so will be including it as a giveaway at some point. (ISBN#9781602601659, 368pp, $12.99)
This was a Read it Forward book that Random House sent me. The title and description sounded enticing although it is a mainstream fiction imprint so will likely have some content certain readers would find problematic. When I review it I will address the content for readers who have standards of what they will or will not read. (ISBN#9780307589255 , 464pp, $26.00)
I thoroughly enjoyed Carlson’s Carter House Girls Series and look forward to this new teen series she is launching. Thanks to Zondervan for a review copy. (ISBN#9780310717867, 224pp, $9.99)
This is the sequel to Premiere and will be followed by Spotlight in the fall. Thanks to Zondervan for a review copy. (ISBN#9780310717874, 224pp, $9.99)

You had a nice mailbox week. I have The King’s Mistress too. I’ll have to try a Tyndall book. I have not read any of her titles but do enjoy inspirational fiction.

Tyndall’s books seem too unrealistic to me, but I know a lot of folks like them. I’d like to try The King’s Mistress.
